Self Drive Ski/snowboard Half Term Trip,
Saturday 15th Feb-Sunday 23nd Feb , 2025.
You will be going to Baréges which links with La Mongie to form one of the largest ski areas in the French Pyrenees, with over 100 km. of pistes & 45 lifts. This area is suitable for all standards, even beginners! You will have half board accomodation in a centrally located 3 * hotel and a 6 day lift pass included (value €330 !) which gives you 6 full days of skiing !
Your Itinerary:
Saturday morning,15th February you check-in with your own car at Elizabeth Harbour at 08.10 for Condor ferry departure to Saint Malo at 09.10. On arrival depart for the trip down to the Pyrenees, staying overnight en route ,to arrive at the Hotel Montagne Fleurie on Sunday morning.Lift passes will either be sent to you before departure, or can be collected in the hotel.
On Sunday morning after breakfast you can go to the hire shops to collect ski gear and set off for the ski bus just across the road to take you on the short trip (4 km) up the mountain (included in the ski pass),if you have your own equipment just carry on to the slopes! (or you can drive up in your own car!)
You willl have six full days of skiing from Sunday through Friday, then depart the resort on Saturday, and spend Saturday night somewhere along your route, to return to Jersey on Sunday 23rd at 17.00. (Should you wish to depart earlier to get the return ferry from St.Malo to Jersey on Saturday 22nd at 08.00 or 17.40, then this can also be arranged.)
